Cavalcades – Coping EP 12″
Cavalcades – Coping 12” EP PRE-ORDER
Cavalcades, from Aberdeen, Scotland, formed at the end of 2010, but have already achieved a lot. After a string of sold out splits and self-released EPs, they toured the UK for the first time in February 2012, and went on a huge 19 date summer tour throughout the whole of Europe with Canada’s Todos Caeran.
Genre-wise, Cavalcades can be placed somewhere between European Screamo and Melodic Hardcore; heavily influenced by the likes of Raein, Suis La Lune and Daitro.
Coping is a 16minute long 5-track EP/Mini Album. Mastered at The Atomic Gardens by Jack Shirley (comadre).

This record is a co-release between 5 labels: Dog Knights Productions, Middle Man Records, Farblos Records, Listen To Aylin Records and Tief in Marcellus Records. Coping is limited to 300 copies on ‘Sky Blue vinyl with Snow White Splatter’.
The New & Very Welcome – Bouquet Of Traffic Lights 7″
The New & Very Welcome serves up her trademark acoustic emo-songs on this 7″. But, that’s not all! She’s covering one of the most influensual emo/ screamo bands of our time; The Saddest Landscape.
Pouring her heart out onto tape, singing, screaming, almost crying at certain point. It’s like she heard the songs and though “these are about me!”, and acutally made them sound like they did. If the original songs weren’t awesome enough, The New & Very Welcome’s songs are nothing short of amazing
Tracklist:
1) We Wanted The Sky
2 ) Statue Of A Girl (May 15th)
3.) The Temptation That Is You
limited versions of the record will be up shortly
Suis La Lune – S/T 7″
[I found a small amount of these hidden in my closet. 4 have full covers, 10 will get new ones some time or another]
This is a reissue of their first 7″, that mysteriously vanished.
Two tracks of epic screamo the way only Suis La Lune can do it. This is a split release between Fasaden Records (sweden), Quiet. Still. Dead (Malaysia), Eschucha! Records (Mexico) and Listen to Aylin Records (Norway)
(ps. The four copies with the cover are all blue)
Quiet Steps – Think Aloud LP
This is QUIET STEPS – THINK ALOUD ! In our humble opinion, this massive (44 minutes on 12 songs) record is the best digital release of 2010, and (again, our humble opinion) most likely the best physical album of 2011.
Quiet Steps play a form of melodic screamo/ emo, but not the one you’ve heard a million times before. This is sophisticated and emotional, political and heartbreaking. Not that all different from the good old Ebullition catalogue, but also similar to some of the newer stuff like SINALOA and DANIEL STRIPED TIGER.
Aske/ Håp – Split TAPE
LTAPE03 is out! The tape is a split between two new emo/screamo acts from Stavanger, Norway. ASKE delivers two really epic emotional 90s-inspired screamo songs, while HÅP gives us 4 songs in 4 minutes and have a more emo violence/Euro-skramz sound going on. Both bands sing in Norwegian, on a the beautiful dialect from Stavanger. The tapes are Pro-dubbed in hand sewn pouches and limited (and of course numbered) to 50 copies.
